TURN COAT by JIM BUTCHER -- SIGNED ARC COPY
.
Right, I have NO idea what I'm doing, but that's never stopped me before!
Announcing, for one week only, a CHARITY AUCTION!
There's only ONE item in it, but WHAT an item!
I have one (gently read) advance reading copy of
Jim Butcher's new Dresden Files book,
TURN COAT--SIGNED ON THE FRONT BY JIM!
I'll post a picture of it if there is time but this ARC copy has a plain brown cover with just the title, Jim's autograph, and a few typos inside. (Honestly, I only saw ONE.) Jim read the first couple chapters from this copy at ConDFW last month, then generously donated it to me so I could auction it here. If the book's a little bendy on the first 20 pages, it's all Jim's fault; like Harry, he's rough on his reads!
By 12 noon Central Standard Time on March 29 only one of you will have the high bid for it. After sending payment in, it will be mailed out.
How to make a bid?
I'll do the Occam's Razor Thing.
E-mail your bid to mystikmerchant@sbcglobal.net.
Subject: Charity bid.
As bids come in, I will update this blog entry throughout each day. I will check the mail several times a day.
Your LiveJournal name will appear next to the bid unless you tell me different. I hope you won't, so I can keep this all straight!
If there is a tie, the first bid in is the one I'll count.
For right now the high bid is:

One hundred percent of the winning bid will go to
SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CURE.
Wikipedia Article.
I'll put a donation on top of that to offset any Paypal fees.
I think we all know Rachel Caine had a nasty brush with breast cancer a couple years back. Many of us know others who have had to deal with the disease. Here's a way to help out.
So--cut loose and bid for the cure--and some damned good reading!
